I am a PhD student in a neuroimaging research group within the COGSYS/BEAT department at CIIRC CTU. I hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, and during my Master’s studies I followed the Biomedical Instrumentation track.
Research description
My work focuses on extracting relevant features from head MRI data to investigate dementia and similar age‑related neurodegenerative disorders. I am especially interested in what compromises normal cognitive function and in the processes that lead to such impairments.
